Skygolpe Skygolpe (Mattia Somovigo, b. 1986) is an independent artist based in Italy, whose practice moves fluidly across digital, physical, and multimedia environments. His work is characterized by a striking visual force combined with a philosophical approach. Among the early pioneers of NFT technology applied to art, he has contributed to shaping its recognition as an artistic medium.
Through projects such as Paint on Pixel, he translates native digital aesthetics into physical artifacts, bridging blockchain logic with material presence and concrete applications. His works have been sold by major international auction houses and exhibited in museums, galleries, and public spaces worldwide.
His ongoing research engages artificial intelligence as an advanced field of inquiry, examining how technology and progress reshape artistic meaning and perception.
